UNABLE TO RECEIVE INCOMING CALLS (but can make phone calls)

Hi, I registered with Public Mobile yesterday. All seemed to work, I received my PIN number and can make phone calls. Until today I tried calling to my phone number via homephone and it said "unavailable". My friend tried calling me and heard the waiting tune but I did'nt see any phone calls.

I'm in urgent need. Please help!

This happened to me as well. I ported my number over, and immediately after, I was able to make calls but cannot receive them. Wait 24 hours and everything will be normal. Oh and do not forget to reset your voicemail dialer on the phone APP. Good luck!

@cindy2020 not to pick nits, but this is actually the exact opposite of the original problem.  That said, what happens when you try to dial out?

I have the same problem except I got a new number from PublicMobile. Certain people can call me, but others cannot. I activated over a week ago 

The official time is 24 to 48 hours @phanhlosophy . But its been much better lately.

@phanhlosophy  Depends on the number of tickets, typical response time ~1 hour.

Thanks for your answer. I converted to PM from another provider, not from landline. I'm not sure if I made some mistakes while filling information or not. . .

@phanhlosophy  is this for all calls? Can you receive texts? Did you port your number? If you can't receive calls or texts, and ported your number it may be stuck.

1st try restarting your phone. If this doesn't work contact a moderator and explain your situation.  Click on the green questionmark in the white circle at the bottom right of your screen.  This connects to the autobot Simon.  Type moderator and follow the prompts to get to one. (CLICK on account specific question and human and submit a ticket)

@phanhlosophy , did you perform a number transfer?  If so the transfer is stuck and resubmission.  To do that you need to contact the moderator team.  The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link.  Please include a detailed description of the issue and the required resolution. This will speed up problem resolution significantly. Refer to the following knowledge base link for additional information on contacting the moderator team.

@phanhlosophy  If you ported in your number from another provider that is normal. You need to wait for the port to complete. If it's a voip or landline that you are porting in it could take up to 5 days, otherwise a port from another provider should take up to 4 hours.
