Hi there,
I just got my SIM card from Walmart and went through the Sign Up process which involved a number port. All seemed good and entered my CC info, but it sat on processing for a while and then came back as Unsuccesful. It pointed me back to the Sign Up page but when I try again it says my SIM is not valid now. The account info I entered does not let me Sign in to my account. How do I proceed? Can someone look up my SIM to see what happened?
Solved! Go to Solution.

Yes had tried to power cycle a few times however I am happy to report that everything is good now! I think I just had to wait it out, not long ago calling and texting started to work - happy customer! Thanks all for your help!

I signed up successfully, received the confirmation email and my service provider is listed as Public Mobile but for several hours I didn’t have any service. After lots of searching for answers online and frustration I tried turning my phone off and on and Voila! It worked a simple fix So give it a try if you are having the same problem.

Thanks for the reply. It is from another mobile carrier, so I have checked with a Moderator and will see what they say.
It's an iPhone 6 so not sure if that's new enough for automatic APN settings or not.
Cheers

guess I just have to keep waiting at this point?
If you ported from another mobile company, it should have be completed within a few hours. If you ported from landline or VOIP service, it can take several days.
Likely port is stuck if you are porting from another mobile company. Need to contact moderator to complete port.
Click on the question mark on the right lower corner of website to start ticketing process to contact moderator. Type: Contact moderator. Follow the prompts to submit ticket.
With any newer iphones, no need to edit APN settings. It should be automatic.

1) My CC WAS charged - yay!
2) I created my self serve account manually with the links you provided, all went well and everything looks good.
3) I have Public Mobile service on my phone - calling out works from my number but calling in and sending/receiving texts doesn't work HOWEVER I am porting my number in and I understand I need to wait some time here. Interestingly enough I DID receive the text to verify my account when I created the Self Serve account however if other cell phones text me it doesn't work as of yet.
All in all I think I am good and just need to give it some more time, but my account and SIM from what I can tell looks good.
Thanks again, so speedy!
Restart your phone.
3-. If you put your old sim in from old provider it will likely work to receive calls until port is complete.
Also check to make sure data is working if not check your APN settings. They should be like below
If you used a referral code when signing up. The $10 sign up bonus will be credited to your account within 72 hours.
Welcome to Public Mobile 🙂

@jamesggabriel The system creates a session lock so you need to wait for about an hour for the lock to clear and you can try the activation again.
Also insert the card in your phone to see if you can connect to the PM Network
If yes, then click here to register your selfserve account.

First check if your credit card was charged. If it was put sim card in and see if anything works.
If it works .try logging into your self serve account..if you can't sometimes with a system error it does not create your account so go to this link to create it.
https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/self-registration/
If you were not charged.. system locks the sim for 50 minutes.
Wait one hour clear history and cookie cache and try again in incognito mode browser
Also for credit card..if you have apartment number leave that section blank.
