I have transferred my previous number from virgin mobile, but after I have changed the plan from only texting to a data one, there's a new number given to me and my previous number had become the alternative one. How can I change it back to the old one?

As soon as a number is cancelled, the cancelled number went back to the original carrier who own that number.
Is your Virgin number was given to you by Virgin?
Is there any chance that your Virgin number was ported to Virgin from Telus/Koodo/Public?
If yes, PM may be able to get your Virgin number back.

@suiris No idea why your number switched randomly due to a plan change. Are you sure you did not change your number?
