Transfer from previous provider not completed

I tried transferring my Fido number to the public. Already activated  Public SIM card, responded the transfer authorization text from FIDO.

 

I received message from Public saying transfer of number couldn’t be completed and I will be contacted shortly from them  but no response from public team.

Maybe I gave incorrect information. Maybe the fact it went through means they don't about it. Looks like the support people.

Tried calling Telus port number , it says transfer request for my number does not exist 🥲

If the previous troubleshooting steps didn’t work, and it has taken more than 2 hours to transfer your mobile number,you will need the help of a Customer Support Agent Chatbot

@anju1  - not sure why it says someone will contact you...🙄. Maybe sometimes they do, but not sure.

 

Submit a ticket with Public Mobile representatives (CSA) for help; click this link for issues with transfer/porting of phone numbers over to Public Mobile.

 

Or, you can try calling the Telus porting phone number, which we are not supposed to post here. So, check your private messages I will send it to you there.

Call the number in the link and they should sort it out. Maybe you gave some incorrect information.
