Hi,
I'm porting over from a Telus account. I want to transfer my old phone number to my new PM account but I read from another forum post that during the porting process, my old Telus account will be deleted after being ported. Is this true? I do not want my old Telus account deleted as there are other cell phone numbers attached to that account as well as my internet account that I wish to keep.

The old account will be closed only if that is the last line active on the account. In your case, it will not be closed and only that line will be closed.
