Top up charge to switch my plan

nasatona

Good Morning,

I am brand new to public mobile! and I love it so far. However, when I signed up I kept forgeting to click the right items i needed for my plan and changed it a few times the day it was activated. I also signed up for auto pay.

This has charged my card twice for 146.90 and 162.72 as i had to "top up" to change it the final time to get everything I needed. How can I request my money back for one of those charges?

Thank you,

Natasha

PM mods are pretty reasonable, but let this be a lesson for next time! Some companies are not as reasonable and forgiving!

check your payment historys to see if teh charges are all there and as mentioned  explain what happened with a possible timeline.  PM is pretty good about keeping cutomers happy. not sure about the refund but available balance will probably be the route taken.

Hi @nasatona,

If you have reached out to the Moderators, they should be able to refund you the extra charges.

No need to cry 🙂

I just realized that i was charged on another card again as I changed it for a third and final time and had to use a different card for it to allow me to change. I am actually crying, this is almost $600.

Public Mobile is prepaid, so you pay immediately when you select your plan.  If you change your plan, you technically lose whatever time you have left in whichever plan you paid for, and you need to pay again when you select a new plan.

Send a private message to the Moderator Team explaining your situation, and you might be able to get a refund.
