I received a text message to switch to telus or koodoo for a new phone …

Are those legit ? I love my pricing on public mobile but i would love to get a new phone

Carriers will alway get you when there is an offer with a new phone. Normally comes with a 2 year contract and at the end of the contact…you have to return the phone…basically leasing the phone plus you need to be on their mid to top priced plans.

I never go for these deals. I always go for the lower priced bring your device plan and purchase the phone on my own.

@Liettegd Yes, they are legit and coming directly from Public Mobile. They also send offers through emails. PM and Koodo are both owned by Telus.

I received one of those offers myself.  So not interested.  Everyone's offer might be different,  but mine was for a Google pixel 8 or 9 don't remember which one for $6.47 a month.  But, I would have to get a minimum monthly plan starting at $45 a month. 

The offer should be legit for you,  but you need to read the conditions carefully and decide what's best for you.
