Text messages

Hello

I recently switched to Public and since then haven’t been able to reply to android text messages I have received.  When I go into my settings it says RCS-waiting for activation 

please help with step by step on how to fix this.

yes,it is an RCS re-registration problem on Google side

what you need to do is to make sure you removed the old carrier sim card and disable the old esim.  Then uninstall Google Message (or choose Uninstall update),  then wait 15 mins, reboot your phone and reinstall Google Message and enable RCS to trigger a re-registration
