This is simply a test to find out if this community account is somehow flagged.
I have tried to submit a post three times today (with 1 hour or more in between) and it will either just disappear (twice) or I get a yellow flag that says it's spam. Nobody is willing to tell me what the offensive part is with pointing out that there is a discrepancy between usage history and the account page data wheel.
I have described the issue in accurate and neutral language, I'm not attacking anyone. All there is is the report that there seems to be yet another flaw / glitch. If we are not allowed to do that, what gives, Public Mobile? Are you also blocking access to CSA when someone seeks help with this?
Adding: I've been here long enough to know
a) to use incognito on laptop, and refresh spinners
b) that the usage history can have multiple pages
c) data is reported cumulatively twice a day in the usage history, and most up-to-date is the account page data wheel
d) how to reach out to the CSA
I'm not questioning the accuracy of the data wheel, I'm actually surprised that there's still some data left after all those zoom calls - it's the ability to cross reference between usage history and data wheel. Adding all the usage history data for the whole payment period is less than 2GB while, according to the wheel I have used 14GB in the same period (my phone, reset to the proper cycle start date, thinks it's 17GB...) A few hundred MB I'd understand, two figure GB discrepancy is too much.
I reiterate: I'm not disputing the actual use, I'm just wondering how we're to trust accuracy if cross reference is so far off.

The data usage reported on Self-Serve is ultimately the only metric which matters because it's the one you pay for.
Self-Serve is not instantly updated. Especially if the usage needs to be reported from another (non-Telus) network.
And reported data usage seen by the network is always greater than real data usage seen on the device. Because there can be a lot of "lost" or "wasted" data, errors and re-sent packets, the network counts every byte it sends and receives regardless of what the device counts. Some users can be affected more than others simply because of when and where they use their data, high traffic or weak signal or radio noise causes more errors.
A difference of several gigabytes seems too significant, though. My first suspicion would be apps on the device which are consuming data in the background or adding data overhead during normal activity. Constant update checks and notification checks and telemetry "services" sip and leech away at your data under the hood.

I don't trust or use the usage details anyway. The first page counters are the ones to trust. Match that with your phone and using the renewal date to get an approximation of accuracy. Your phone will count MMS's but the system does not.

Thanks for taking the time.
I use this as a data line only, all the postings are just data usage, so no filters needed. There are multiple 0.00MB postings that should clearly be in the 2+GB range. I'm aware of the multiple page trap and the tallying was done in excel as well as manually. Same amount (2ish GB), which is off about 12GB from the account wheel (14.something GB, which I accept as accurate, considering my usage pattern over the last week).
The problem is that if I (we?) can't trust the cross reference between the usage history as I have access to it and the data wheel, there is no accountability for accurate metering anymore.
As I say, I am NOT disputing the usage, my trust into the daily reporting has evaporated.

Usage history has a problem with the filters. What if you re-examined your question after doing a full download of your history into an xls file? Then you can do all the sorting and filtering and adding there. Let us know.
