I contacted Public Mobile @CS_Agent and I want to make my experience with Public customer service known.
I got my daughter a phone number with public few days ago. Knowingly or unknowingly she went into my account and changed her number but for some reason her myaccount recovery number did not change. She forgot her email password as well, so when her phone updated to iOS 26, she got logged out of myaccount and have no way of getting back in. I agree, Public Monile is not to blame for this part and it’s completely my daughter’s fault for recklessly changing her number and forgetting her logins.
Im a long time Public customer and got in touch with Alex from @CS_Agent. He was rude, unhelpful, and was unaware of how Public’s systems work. In one instance he told me to read better as if I didn’t know how to read. In another instance he said my daughter can send @CS_Agent a message herself even without logging in, which is a lie.
Who hired these people? What is there training? Does public tell their customer service to be rude and tell their customer to learn to read?
I understand that he was limited in the help he could provide for security reasons, which is fine but being rude like this and insinuating that I’m stupid and can’t read is utterly disgusting for anyone providing service. I’ve been with Public over 2 years but I WILL cancel my account with them if I don’t hear from Public on this soon.

Wow. I can appreciate your accountability in this situation. Hopefully someone else provides better customer service than you have received so far. Good luck and hope it works out for you.

You can ask for a manager to reply. Unfortunately, I have seen many posts and have also personally experienced lack of empathy myself once from the person who identified themselves as a " manager ". 🙄

Yes I did. They continue to be unhelpful. I’m done with their “help” and rudeness. I asked them if there is somewhere I can provide feedback on his stellar (sarcastic) customer service and they said to just tell them and they’ll pass it on (YEA RIGHT! SURE YOU WILL)

Sadly, it's is hard to get good customer service these days from anywhere.
You've indicated your negative experience with the agent and said you are waiting to hear back from them soon.
Did you make known to the agent mentioned that you wanted to be contacted further? Or did they tell you they would contact you to follow up?
I only ask because you have shared your experience here in the Community and have tagged them. However, if you want to continue with them, you have to continue your private conversation to seek finalization.
