I moved to a different province and registered with a new number I would like to terminate my service in the middle of the billing cycle.

You'll need to contact Public Mobile to remove your credit card.  For instructions on how to contact Public Mobile, please review trhe response provided by Handy1.

@Suresh2  Public mobile is pre paid and no pro rating , so just make sure you public mobile account is active and leave SIM in phone to reply yes to the port request . Once you have successfully ported number out to new provider it will automatically close your public mobile account . That’s it nothing more for you to then do

I would like to part away with my public number and terminate the service right away. I just want to pay the prorated bill until today in the current billing cycle. I already unsubscribed from the public app.

@Suresh2  Log into your account and unsubscribe then the account will go into suspended mode and automatically close after 90 days suspension, that or you can ask support to remove credit card info file right away 

Public mobile prefers

you  use the orange chat bubble bottom right of screen . If that dosent work you can instead send  a  private message   To CS_Agent

You need to sign into your account to terminate your account yourself. 

Sign in, click on Manage Subscription,  turn subscribe to off. After 90 days no payment or Available Funds to cover your balance your account will be closed and phone number gone.

If you want it done faster, create a ticket and ask reps to do it for you.
