Does my Public Mobile membership give me access to the Telus public WiFi hotspots?

Telus WiFi is available to TELUS and non-TELUS clients.  You need to register before it lets you to connect.

They added the Koodo account to login to the Telus Wifi hot spot.

Telus Wifi has 2 WiFi services.  One is for the clients of the Telus ISP service which will be auto login without prompting to login after setup  The other one is for the general public.

Shaw WiFi has the same setup.  My friend is with Shaw.  He created a Shaw email address for me to connect to the Shaw client WiFi network.

Yeah, quite possibly. It usually isn't imperative as I will either have data or don't really need internet at the time.

HI @JL9

With the hit and miss,   I think you got mixed up with the public hotspot in the mall powered by Telus and those one available for Telus clients only

Did it work for you? I tried a couple other public hotspots (not Telus) and they seemed to be hit and miss.

Try it. Use your account login credentials and see if it will let you in. Report back your findings if you like.
