Yesterday, I switched my son from Koodo to PM and everything went fine and quick. My son has a smartphone.
In a couple of weeks, I to be switching from Koodo to PM and I have a flip phone.
My question is: do I need to put my own PM SIM in his smartphone to finalize, or since the app is already installed I just need to log in with my account ?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Your SIM card never has to go into your son's phone. However, it is very important that the Public Mobile app's storage is cleared before you log in and after you are done. This is because the Public Mobile app has long had a serious security vulnerability that causes information from the wrong account to be shown and I am uncertain if that issue was ever corrected.
