Switching eSIM to new phone

I’ve been with public mobile for a year now and have an eSIM with my old Telus SIM card still in the phone. How do I switch everything over to my new phone (iPhone pro 16). 

I read you can’t switch esims over and that you have to get a new one for free but how do I do this. I can’t figure it out

You will need to download the PM app on your new phone.  Then login into your PM account and then purchase an eSIM for the new phone.  You should not be charged.
