Hello community!
I have a question that I would love some clarity on. Anyone with a similar experience please let me know what is my best course of action. So, long story short, I am travelling out of the service zone for 1.5 months. It feels like a waste to keep paying for my phone subscription when I am unable to use it. However, I am very concerned that if I choose to cancel my subscription and suspend my account, I won't be able to re-activate it on the same plan when I come back to Canada. I am currently on a 60GB plan for $35 a month and would like to keep that great rate. Should I continue to pay for the subscription when I am gone to ensure I keep the rate? Or can I unsubscribe and suspend my account for 1.5 months until I come back?
Again, I would love to hear from those who have encountered a similar situation. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

There is no need to continue paying. And they won't lose it. All they need to do is turn off autopay and the account will be frozen for 89 days once their 30 cycle is over. OP said they'll be away for 1.5 months which is 45 days. Well within the 89 limit. Personally, I have an account that was dormant for 80 days and I just renewed it. I have a neighbor who's been dormant for 75 days and she has 14 days to get her plan back.

I understand you want to hear from people who've experienced this however it's not necessary. This is a very easy question to answer. Just go into your payment section, manage payment, turn off autopay. Your plan will run till the end of that 30 day cycle you already paid for. Then you'll have 89 days to renew the same plan. Just turn autopay back on and make a payment. It's that easy!
