Hi there,

 

My credit card expired and while I was waiting for new card, phone payment was due. Now data has stopped and I can't log into self serve. I tried the password reset but have no phone data to receive password reset. Any ideas...? Thanks!

I think that Gofiona would probably like to perform a reset but can't because of not having an internet connection, although it the message could be read as not being able to receive the e-mail message with the reset link because of the lack of internet.

 @computergeek541 : I'm not sure the OP meant that not having data is why they couldn't log in. But then nor am I sure how they could then have gone about doing a password reset. Shrug

I'm not sure that I'd watn to be setting a new password on a open network.  It's not necessarily that I don't trust the administrators of the network, but really anyone could intercept and read unencrypted information.

 @Gofiona : Plenty o' wifi everywhere. You could also buy a voucher in many stores and then use the 611 to redeem it. Or instant top-up in a few stores.

If you use reset password, it should send to your email address. You only need to have Wifi.

 

If you still can't reset password , you need to open a ticket with Mod using the Bubble on the lower right.

 

For the credit card/payment, you have a new card to put it on the account yet?  If so, just resolve your account login issue first and use the replace credit card option in Self-Serve.

 

If you don't have a credit card, you might need to get a voucher first and load the voucher after.   You cam get a voucher from places like Shell, Shoppers Drug Mart, etc

Do calls and text messages still work?  If they do, your service issue isn't related to payment. Also, unless your payment is 90 days late, that shouldn't affect your ability to log in. Unfortunately, when it comes to password reset, Public Mobile really assumes that you have a home interent connection.  If you don't, you'll have to ask a moderator to rest the password by going to:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
