Subscription before phone with eSim?

I've never used an esim, I'm hoping this gets answered before the sale ends. I purchased a phone but it will only arrive on Monday. I'm looking for a bring your own phone subscription and there is a sale on that ends today. Can I subscribe today to get the sale but only use it once my phone arrives?

the downside of esim is that they are only a 1 use item. For instance...if you decide to buy a new phone, you'd need a new esim whereas your old hard sim can just be removed from old and installed in new cellphone without any fuss.

@HiddenGuardian  Yes no worries pay for subscription now and it won’t start until you activate on the plan on the app . You can always change device after the fact anyways by signing in with new phone and rebuying eSIM from the app on new phone and you will get credit for the cost of the eSIM at check out anytime you decide to get new phone
