Stuck while transferring number out of public mobile

I am having issues porting my number from public mobile to another carrier. The carrier sent a message to public mobile but pm sent me and email welcoming me to PM! Weird! Online I found pm listed some steps that include replying to an SMS. Unfortunately I am traveling outside Canada and have no way to receive this SMS (that is the reason to leave PM!). Can pm email the code instead for verification while porting?

If you have the USA/Canada plan or USA/Canada/Mexico plan. You can get the 2FA code.
If have the Canada wide plan. You will have to wait until you return to Canada.

ask your new provider to resend the port request to PM.
or check with PM , Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen
