We bought a sim card for an iphone4s but the standard card we received is too small to sit in the assembly that held the Koodo sim card.
Does someone know of a solution?

The easiest solution is to to any cell store in the mall and ask for an adpater ring. Every store much have a bunch lieing around.

They are now sold as three sizes now. Macro, Micro, and Standard. Make sure to remove them carefully as when punching them out they do remove very easy. Did you accidently remove all of them or do you have an old sim card? If you just bought it maybe show a receipt to the moderator with the store you bought from and a pic of the sim card. They might be able to help.

All sim cards currently sold for use with Public Mobile through official channels are of the same sizing. They are all now cut so that you can choose the size you want by detaching only the parts of the plastic that you need. iPhone 4s uses micro sim size, so you will need to re-attach the mciro sim sizing part of the plastic. After doing that, the sim card will fit.
If you have one of the much older Public Mobile sim cards that are only meant to be used with phones that use a nano-sim card, you will either need to attain an adapter to convert it to micro-sim card sizing, or you will need to purchase a new sim card.

Unless you have a very old Public Mobile SIM, look carefully at the card. It actually breaks into three pieces.
