Sorry it was in the middle of transferring and completed now. Works good.

Hi, I am trying to port a number from Fido. When I enter the number it tells me

 

We were unable to transfer the phone number you entered. Try one of the following options:
-  Make sure you entered your number correctly.
-  Select a new number.
-  Contact the Public Mobile Community for further assistance.
 

. How to fix this?

Be aware, There are rare instances that numbers can't be ported. They are rare but do occur.

@YC If you are trying to port in your number while you are activating, just choose a new number for now. You can request to port in later when you have access to the self-serve account. And if the system still does not let you, the moderator team can do it for you via private message.
