Smartwatches

Public Mobile should integrate options to extend cellular plans to smartwatches that support it (like the apple watch 3). Honestly, Its just a money grab for phone companies since your already paying for the plan. Its such a good opportunity for them to make more profit and for their customers to get a better experience from the service.

I might add, you need a rock solid technology that will be popular for something to be viable on a low cost carrier like Public Mobile.  The costs in technical support are just too high.  VoLTE is still hit an miss on most phones, and it is still a technical support nightmare, all for very little actual immediate benefit.  Once it matures, and is popular, I am sure Public Mobile will welcome it!

Folks we have to be realistic here.  This is a tier 3 service.  Just because something is coming to or at Telus, we should be no expectation that it will come here.  Case in point, Telus has had VoLTE, Koodo is getting it, no signs of it here.  The best way to enjoy a service is to have reasonable expectations based on what we signed up for.  No point in trying to find fresh produce in a shoe store.

Hi @warpdrive

At the moment Public Mobile has no plans to support the new Apple watch with enablement of its SIM feature.

However, feel free to visit our community for any future updates.
