Siri often useless esp on mobile data ("On it....Still working....Sorry, something went wrong...")

iPhone 11 with iOS 14.4.

I have increasingly noticed that Siri isn't working, particularly on mobile data. Simple commands like calling a contact continuously fails when this was never a problem before. Rebooting phone doesn't help.

Any suggestions?

Does your service with Public mobile work fine?  ie. data, talk and text?
