Yes you can but they will be on 2 different plans using a different email/plan.

But why would you want 2 plans unless one is for business and the other is your private number.

Yes, if your phone is compatible, customers can have both eSIM and physical SIM card. 

As for contributing to community, just spend as much time as you want and slowly help customers with their issues.  You can check the Get Help section and familiarize with help/knowledge articles.  However, it is not worth your time to help if you are wanting to earn community rewards.  Need to spends too many hours just to earn 5 to 10 points (dollars) per month.
