@Rockwell  Is your phone blacklisted? Try the sim in another phone and if it works then your device is more than likely blacklisted.

To eliminate hardware problem.  Test your PM SIM card on a know working unlocked phone.

If your SIM card works in another phone, we can concentrate on getting a solution for your phone.

If your SIM card does not work in another phone, is your account status active?

If your account status is active, you account may not be provisioned correctly.  Adding $1 to your account may trigger PM server to provision your account again.

Is it possible that your phone is LOCKED?

Do you get any message when you put sim in like "enter sim network unlock code"?

If so you have to contact the provider that you got phone from and ask for the unlock code. It is free to get.

If it's a Samsung phone go to Samsung Canada website and start a live chat with them for Unlock code.

@Rockwell What does your self-service account say? Is it active? Did you port the number?
