Sim card lost

My sim has been lost and I need a new one.  No rush as I'm out of the country for another week.

How do I get a new one?

hi @Poleman1

wow, that has been a long wait.  Sim card delivery shouldn't take longer than 3 weeks.  Probably it was lost

But best to ask PM support agent for status update, you can  submit by direct message:

Better to ask if you can pickup another one from a nearby Telus or Koodo store instead of wait longer to have them resend a new one

Something is wrong.  I purchased the SIM card January 7, four weeks ago and no sign of it.  What the heck gives?  This is crap.

Thanks guys.  A SIM will be waiting for me when I arrive home.

So the fastest way is from Amazon or purchasing directly from a Koodo/Telus/Mobile Klink store if they sell them.

But since you are not in a rush, if you have access to wifi where you are, you can purchase one directly from the Public Mobile app if you have it on your phone. Or from your self serve account and order it to your home.

They generally take up to 10  business days to arrive anyway. So it could be waiting for you when you get back. Then you would just update the new number in your Profile.

hi @Poleman1

it is best to buy the Public Mobile sim card from Amazon, cheaper and shipped with tracking

when you are back in Canada, login My Account (when they send you 2FA, click Didn't Receive Code or Resend code and choose Send email or Send voice message to get the code),  and go to Profile page to update the sim card number
