Scammers Using My Phone Number

Scammers are using my phone number as a "spoof" number and calling people from my number. What do I do?

this is Caller ID spoofing.

Scammer use system to fake the caller id to fool people to think a real person is calling and not those annoying sales calls. The one receive that call see your number and not aware of caller id spoofing and hence call you back and ask

Sorry, there is really nothing much you can do to stop, but you didn't have anything compromised.  So, thing to worry about

There isn't all that much that can be done. Eventually, the entity doing that will likely move on to pretend to be contacting others from a different phone number.  You can try explaining to anyone contacting you about you that it is you contacting them or you can ignore these communications.  You can change your phone number as a last resort if you're not concerned about keeping your current number, but there's no guarantee that someone won't start spoofing the new number as well.
