Is there anywhere to report a scam? Both my husband and myself just received texts telling us there was something wrong with our accounts and to go to the provided link and update our payment info. It looked legit but I know it isn't.

this is what they sent me today! I called my wife and both of our phones were working and we are both on public mobile... definitely a scam
Public Mobile here. Your account has been placed on hold due to an unresolved issue with your payment.
To resume your services, simply log in to the Public Mobile app or My Account online at publicmobile.ca/sl/fIQ0UvXheD and update your payment details.

Got it as well today but payment is good. I opened a ticket with customer service before I saw this post. Thanks all!

many others with similar issue this am. Public Mobile seems to be experiencing a system wide glitch today. You can message Customer Support or just ignore that stupid message until issue cleared up.

I got this too!
The link led to the PM website, so it doesn't seem to be a scam.
Logged in to my account, everything looks normal, and they took an auto-payment yesterday.
Could make a phone call. Texted someone to test that, no reply yet.
If this text was a mistake by PM, they bloody well better wake up and send the same people a text saying it was a mistake and should be ignored.

I agree and I think a lot of people had this issue as when I logged into my account, I was in the "queue" for 6 minutes ! Just hope that they were not hacked ...

Got this as well and the text seemed legit so I think this is an error on the public mobile side. So, valid text but invalid reason for it being sent

I also received this text, upon further investigation it turned out to be another scam. At this point I don't trust any dire warnings be it a text, email, or phone call. Never click on a link, use the official app or surf to the official website on your own, or call the number on your card.

Same here but it's from the PM number I always get texts from. Started a ticket. As it said my payment went through at 2.08 am but I still owe money at 12 noon??

My son received this as well. I didn't click the link, but logged onto the Public Mobile portal. It showed that our payment had gone through, but... it also had a warning that I wasn't "subscribed" and it no longer had our credit card payment details.
I suspect that this is a actually some kind of system error on Public Mobile's part, and/or a result of some kind of update to their payment processing system.

Got the same text right now. But I'm not sure it was a scam, rather an error in the system. As it came from the same number I get text verification codes from PublicMobile.
Didn't click the link regardless, instead went into the app to verify my payment was processed two days ago.
Not sure what happened there but I would expect a response from PM later today for sure.
