I have a galaxy a70.

Samsung rolled out an update the other day and now I have the scrolling "no network connection" at the top.  I checked....I am on my home network.

I restarted...nadda

Any ideas?

Problem solved.....

I pulled out the Sim again....but I let it sit for about 5 minutes.  Inserted then restarted the phone

BINGO!!!!!!🥳

Thank you all for the advice and options.🤗

The message center option is grayed out

There are no settings under my Sim card.

I am in good standing ....I don't understand why I have no service since the update from Samsung

Here's an article that may help.  Do a network reset per @softech suggestion.  If that doesn't help check this article,

Set up data on an Android phone (publicmobile.ca)

PM - Public Mobile

APN - Access Point Name

Please be aware that APN settings are unrelated to SMS text merssaging.  Those settings could be set incorrectly or even just left blank and SMS would still work.

Still no luck

All those APN settings in the article  were gone.....so I entered ad instructed

Restart

I guess I'll have to put in a request

@Tigrisnl I assume you reboot your phone already?

Try to pull your sim card out for a minute, then put it back in and see

turn off wifi so you can check clearer if mobile connected

@Tigrisnl try this, although yours could be slightly different due to OS version

Step 1:  From the home screen, swipe up to open the menu.

Step 2:  Tap Settings.

Step 3:  Tap General management.

Step 4:  Tap Reset.

Step 5:  Tap Reset network settings. Step 6:  Tap Reset settings.

Step 7:  Tap Reset..

@Tigrisnl Try resetting your network settings?  Did you check APN to see if values match those for PM?
