When I looked at my outgoing and incoming SMS messages, there's numbers there that I don't recognize. Is this even my account? Can someone please help me I'm panicking!

@shisimocha3 this is old post, but maybe still worth to get it sorted out.  What number is the SMS going to? If it is an iPhone,   It is not unusual that it will send SMS to its activation server to keep alive the iMessage

after consideration; I must offer you an apology. I included a "panic" emoji in my reply to your question...(that emoji has been taken down by an attentive Oracle) It was insensitive to include that emoji, in that it could have been interpreted as being dismissive or otherwise minimizing of your question. If you took it as insensitive; that wasn't my intent and I'm sorry.

Besides the unknown SMS texts, is your phone otherwise working fine?  Calling, Texting and Data?  Incoming and outgoing calling and texts?  

Checking my usage history in my PM account, I also see various numbers as incoming and outgoing texts.  Most of them are actually phone calls and sometimes spam calls and voice messages.  That is recorded as SMS texts.   Also, 2FA texts are recorded.

If your phone is working properly I will not be too concerne.d

don't panic...most unknown messages will be from sales pitches or messages from any store you bought from and gave them your cell number. You can chose to block them if you want.

added...review your actual messages to see if you can recall who they were. Don't forget to look in the Junk file also.
