Just switched to PM. Can't received nor send SMS. Phone works but phone messages not coming in. Switched to old SIM card provider .. all messages are there. How long do I have to wait?

Kodoo and Public Mobile are owned by Telus so they should be able to help. But I've been hearing a lot of this lately so I honestly don't know what's happening...🤔
Are you able to get incoming calls to your Public Mobile number? Can you log in? Message Public Mobile agents at the link below if it's still not working.

Your old SIM will continue to work for about 2 hours or so until porting is completed. Your phone will show SOS with the old SIM when porting is completed. Power off your phone and switch to the PM SIM and power phone back on.

Did you keep the old providers sim in phone first to reply to the sms to confirm the port?
I will send you another message with a phone number to call to verify the port.

if you switch back to the old sim and work, that means the porting request was not done
out of all the messages you got, check if the old carrier has sent you a porting authorization text and if you can still reply within 90 mins when they sent?
