Hi there I’m contacting about having a problem with my phone, backstory yesterday I was going through my settings for my data cause my data wasn’t working whenever I was out of wifi reach so while trying to figure out I hit the eSIM button on my iPhone under my cellular options and for some reason it screwed up my account and so my sim isn’t acctivated and is reading sos so I’m not able to make phone calls or send text messages but I do have an active account with public mobile and I’m wondering if there is any way you can help me fix it. The SIM card I have is the same sim I’ve had since opening my public mobile account and I transferred the same sim into my current phone about a year ago and still have used the same number and phone plan except updating it a few months ago and wondering if there is some way we can reactive the sim because I wanna keep my same phone number and same plan sorry for the inconvenience

Just buy a new eSIM

Download PM app on the phone and login.  If you cannot get the 2FA code, click Didn't receive code or Resend code and select Send email or voice message

Then in the app, go to Account,  Purchase sim card,  and choose esim

@PhillipMulligan
It sounds like your SIM may have been removed from the account when the eSIM option was tapped. Before replacing anything, check your Public Mobile self-serve account.
On the Public Mobile website, go to Profile and look for the SIM card number/ICCID field. This is the number printed on the physical SIM card, not your phone number.
If that SIM card number is missing or was changed, enter the number from the SIM card you’ve been using and save/update it. Then restart your iPhone and check if the service comes back.
Since you still have the same active Public Mobile account, same SIM card, same phone number, and same plan, re-entering the SIM card number may restore the connection.
