I want to move my physical sim card from my iphone 15 back to my old iphone SE2 but it didn't leave from SOS only mode. I tried restarting and resetting the sim card on the tray but no luck. Now when I try to put it back to my iphone 15, it's also SOS only mode. Before I moved it the sim card and carrier was working perfectly fine. Am I too impatient that I have to wait for the phone number to load (which I didn;t have to wait before) or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you.

your iPhone SE2 could have been blacklisted. Please confirm here:

I believe the SE2 supports 4G LTE so it shouldn't be a problem.
I tried resetting the network settings and APN but that did not work as well. I'm currently updating the IOS from 18.6.2 to 18.7.1 if that can possibly fix the issue.

Is the SE2 3g? If so that could be an issue as some area are turning off or changing bands and the phone may no longer be usable. I believe Manitoba is an area that is turning off 3g first. If not try resetting network settings and make sure phone is updated

Hello, thank you for your reply.
Yes I have tried rebooting and resetting the network settings but it didn't seem to work. Right now it's back to working on my iphone 15 but continues to not on my iphone SE2. This sim card did work on the SE2 before and worked no problem before changing to the iphone 15 so I'm lost on what the problem is.

Update: It works on my iphone 15 now but not on my iphone SE2. The sim card used to work on my SE2 perfectly fine before my iphone 15 but that was before I got public mobile (if that's an issue).

Have you tried rebooting the phone with the sim in it? You could also try and reset network settings. It should have just worked just by swapping the card assuming you had that card in the old phone before. I don't know why the 15 isn't working unless you turn on esim that would stop the card from working.
