SIM card switched back to previous phone provider after comming back from a trip overseas

I just came back from a month overseas where I used an Australian SIM card.
After coming home I re-inserted my Public Mobile SIM card but don't have service (phone shows no bars and SOS above the signal).

On top of this if I go to my settings it says that my current provider is FIDO (my old provider before switching to public mobile).

Has anyone had anything like this happen to them?

Thanks!

Either you inserted FIOD SIM card by mistake or you are no longer having Public mobile active plan.

@Franny137  was your public mobile service working prior to go away?

If you reset network,  disable your other sim and restart what  happens?

@Franny137 , by chance did you set up manual connection to Fido?  Try setting your mobile connection to auto and then do an airplane mode toggle to see if the phone will connect to Public Mobile.  Also check your online account to make sure it is in active status.
