Hi. I just subscribed to public mobile. My other provider has already transferred my services over, but my SIM card seems to not be working. Can you help me?

Did you get a physical PM Sim card or esim? You can't use your old providers sim card.

You will need to contact customer service agent to fix your issue. Either via the following link:

If you are having a difficult time, then you can private message CSA:

Please note that your old SIM with continue to work up to 2 hours. Once porting is completed then your phone will show SOS then power off your phone and switch to the PM SIM and power back on.

Hi @Garyclifford

I had a similar problem when setting up my account. What helped me in the end was taking out the Sim card after turning off my phone and putting it back in. If that doesn't work it may be worth while to submit a ticket for assistance.

Hi @Garyclifford

Here are some things that may help. Have you restarted your phone? Have you tried your SIM in a different phone? If you have that option, give it a try as sometimes the SIM needs to be reprovisioned.

Question, if you place your old providers SIM card in your phone, do you still have service or does it say SOS?
