I bought a new SIM card, and it is currently in my phone. My last SIM card stopped working. I tried changing over SIM cards in the app but it will only verify through my phone number, which I can’t receive since my SIM card stopped working. It wouldn’t give me the option to do the email verification.

SIM cards are pretty sturdy and rare anything will go wrong with them. Chances there is an outage in your area.
You should tested the old SIM in another phone and check for outages before purchasing a new SIM.

I click “resend code” and it just resends code to my phone number which I can’t use right now. Can’t switch it to email when using “change sim” in the app

Get the code via email
click "Didn't Receive code" or "Resend Code" and choose "Send email" to get 2FA)
