I recommended Public Mobile to a friend and he tried to use my rewards code and was told it was not valid
He went ahead without my code, registered and is now a customer.
is there a way to get this fixed

Your friend will need to contact a CS_Agent with your 6 digit/alpha referral code.
Make sure that there are no mixups with Z/2, I/1vor O/0.

This is a public forum with other customers like yourself.
Your friend will have to be the one to contact support staff.
Copy your referral code from your self-serve landing page, send it to him via text or e-mail, then have him paste it in the message he submits to the customer support staff, advising them that it did not 'take' on the activation.
The most likely reason is a mix-up of zero's vs O's or one's vs I's. It happens...
They will add it after the fact.

@DHSmith1000 Try to contact support and see if they can update it for you. I think your friend should create the ticket and add the referral code to his account.
You can contact an agent using the chatbot. Type "agent" and click contact us to go through the wizard.
