I just "master clear" my phone and I lost all my contacts. I would like to find a way to have them back.

It's now been THREE AND A HALF YEARS. The issue has LONG been resolved.

Before finding ways to restore or find back your contacts, you'd better to have a look at your Android device, because your contacts might not be deleted. So you need to make sure all your contats are being displayed.
1. Find "Contacts" and open it on your Android phone.
2. Tap on the menu button on the top right corner. Then choose "Settings" > "Contacts to Display".
3. Select "All Contacts". Now, you can return and check whether you got your contacts back or not.
If it is back, that means your contacts is not deleted but hidden. But if it is still not back, you can try the below method to get them back.
An excellent program is required for the task - Coolmuster Android Contacts Recovery. It is easy to manage as you can recover lost, deleted, or formatted contacts on Android phones through only several clicks.

If you did not backup your phone with computer, the recovery software for
Phone users may help you retrieve the deleted contacts, you can get them back in few steps.
Important: don't try to use your phone any more after losing the data, otherwise the data will be overwritten and unrecoverable.
You'd better develop a good habit of backing up all your messages. It can greatly reduce the possibility of losing messages in your daily life. And the action of backing up seems to be much easier than restoring.

@chukdefatey - Let's not underestimate the power of the most basic questions as these have the greater impact on the end-user experience.

Hi @Daniela
If you've master cleared or "factory reset" your phone and didn't have the contacts backed up to an email account or memory card - provided your phone has that functionality than they are likely permanently erased.
