We are aware that some of our customers have been experiencing data-related issues. Our teams are actively investigating intermittent data issues affecting some customers.
If you are having problems connecting to your mobile data services, try one of the following steps to restore data:
In many cases, these steps will restore your connection temporarily at least. Until the issue is resolved, you may need to repeat them periodically.
Rest assured, our internal team is working to get this resolved as soon as possible and we’ll share any updates when we have them here.
Update 1 (4:14pm ET, May 27): Thank you for providing your examples, our network team is continuing to work towards a resolution. We don't require any further examples, and will provide all new updates in this post, as soon as they become available.
Update 2 (2:09pm ET, May 28): Thank you for your patience as our teams have worked to restore services to their normal state. At this time, your service should once again be functioning normally. Please follow the steps listed above (airplane mode on/off, restart your device), to restore your service.
Update 3 (4:35pm ET, May 28): Our technical teams have completed additional updates to resolve any residual issues that some customers were experiencing. Any remaining customers that were experiencing issues should once again follow the airplane mode steps listed above to restore services to their normal state. For anyone that is still experiencing issues with their services, please open a support ticket for further assistance.

Time: first noticed at 12:30 ast (noonish)

Issue: can be cleared by airplane off and on but it keeps coming back

Ontario, Canada. It began about 2 months ago. At that time it was intermittent but now it is all the time. We can't even use use it to make phone calls. It states that we have no network.

The time the issue: May 27th, 2026 around 1 PM. Location: Wakaw, Saskatchewan/Saskatoon, SK. The issue is persistent: cannot use data, only phone calls.

Onaping (Greater Sudbury Area)
I noticed late last week with intermittent no cell service to no service this am with very short intervals of full and tapering off to nothing just as fast.
After turning off phone for 5 min as suggested, it's hanging one to one bar with short surges to full service.

Issue began Monday May 25th. initially was once per day, yesterday was 3 times, today it’s been constant and persistent. Rebooting phone or toggling airplane mode on/off temporarily solves the problem. But it quickly returns.

This has been extremely frustrating! Started a few days ago. I have reset network settings, etc. I am in the Niagara region. Data works anywhere from seemingly 2 minutes to an hour when I have to keep restarting the phone or turning airplane mode on and off.

Halifax, not sure when it started. No data connection i.e. connected service icon not showing in status bar. Used to say “LTE” when connected (older iphone). Have tried resetting network, power cycling, turning cellular on/off. Nothing works. No data at all.

Monday morning, data doesn’t work anywhere. I go airplane mode then toggle off and works for all of 3 seconds then cuts out again. Says I have 2 bars but doesn’t connect to anything and safari says no internet connection. Have restarted and pulled SIM card, reset my network settings. Nothing seems to work. Definitely on Public mobiles end not our phones….

No data on my phone or my wife phone for the last two days. Rebooting the phone gives us access data for a few minutes then it's gone again. Airplane mode on/off has no effect.

Persistent. Tried everything and even tried other methods of messing with radio settings in my phone. I can only get it to work for a little while before it dies the second I move around. Problem persists even when trying the sim card in a different phone.

It is intermittent in that it seems to happen when leaving wifi and it doesn’t switch over to the signal or randomly while out I lose signal and have to reset. Happening to 2 other family members in my house as well.
