My wife and I signed up for Public Mobile a few months ago and have been happy with the sevice. Recently, we each received an SMS from PM with an offer and promotional code for a Koodo plan. We decided to take the Koodo plan, and each initiated sign-up, using the promo code. Mine went through without incident - a SIM card arrived, I activated it and I moved my Public Mobile number over to Koodo.
My wife's plan was initiated a few days later than mine - although still before the offer expiry date. It seemed to go through OK - i.e. we ordered a SIM card successfully - but a couple of days later, I received a call from Koodo saying that there was "a problem" with the code (although it was valid) and that I should get onto the Public Mobile community page to request another promo code.
I'm not sure exactly from whom I should be requesting the promo code, but if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Possible, I guess, but it seems unlikely. It seems the Koodo SIM showed up anyway, so I'll try activating it and porting the number tonight - hopefully it was just some confusion on the Koodo end.

If someone has already used a specific phone number for the Koodo plan validation, Koodo has been refusing to activate another plan using that same validation code. Is it possible that someone already entered that Public Mobile phone number to get a Koodo plan?
There’s actually other codes besides those Fall Promo codes. There are codes for moving other PM plans to Koodo.
Yes, of course...
I was just using the Koodo promo codes that coincided with the Fall Promo plan as an example.
My statement was really just to let the OP know that the promo codes aren't unique for each customer and that they simply correspond to the targetted offer that was made (all promo codes for any specific targetted offer are identical). There isn't another code to request as the OP was told to by Koodo. Any promo code is either valid or it isn't, and the most likely scenario was that Koodo has it marked down that the same validation code (Public Mobile phone number) was used more than once and Koodo is therefore refusing to proceed with the activation on the special promo plan.
