If you want to check for taxes try making a $1 top up payment. After you click confirm but before you click submit the taxes are added for you to see before you submit a payment.

If you're referring to your Public Mobile account, there's nothing to check as taxes will not be shown there. Everything shown in your Public Mobile are pre-tax amounts.

Public Mobile has always added the sales tax on top of the plan fee. While companies in Canada are allowed to advertise prices as taxes included, almost nobody does because it makes the price appear higher.

@Deepakkumar7 No, PM always add tax on top. If you go back and check the credit card statement, you should see it.
Another situation is that if you loaded vouchers into the account before, you will see that a $20 voucher will be loaded and used as $20. But the voucher was charged tax when you first purchased in the store

The government want their share of cell plan…5% GST and 7% PST will be added to your $22 plan.

@Deepakkumar7 PM site does not show any tax there. But when they charge you on the credit card, they will add the tax on it.
the good thing is, they will apply the tax on the amount AFTER all the rewards were applied, so, you pay a bit less on tax

Hi,
The charge is correct. You have paid $22 plus the applicable 13% sales tax rate.
