Hello,
I cancelled my Public Mobile service today, but I noticed that a payment was still charged to my card today. I would like to request a refund for this charge, as I am no longer a customer.I also no longer have access to my account, so I am unable to remove my payment card myself. Could you please remove my card from the account to ensure no further payments are taken?
Please confirm once the refund has been processed and the card has been removed.
Thank you for your help.

It's a bit unfortunate you waited until the final day to port your number rather than a couple days in advance. As others have suggested you can try contacting Public Mobile and see if a refund is possible. Unfortunately they may not approve a refund in this case though.

If you ported out to Telus or Koodo. They may adjust your account because PM is part of Telus.

You likely won't get the money back. You have no service now because you ported out earlier this morning. But PM new cycle starts at mid night. You need to plan better when to port out to avoid that
You can still open ticket but the answer likely same

Hello,
I ported my phone number to another provider today, and my service with Public Mobile has now ended. However, a payment of $47 was charged to my card today, even though I am no longer a customer with an active line.
I would like to request a full refund of this $47 charge.
I also no longer have access to my account. The only way to access it was by phone verification code, but since my line has already been transferred to another carrier, I can no longer receive that code. Because of this, I am unable to log in to remove my payment card myself. Could you please remove my card from the account on your end to make sure no further payments are taken?
I’ve been a customer for several years, and this has been a frustrating experience trying to get a clear answer. I would appreciate a prompt response confirming that the refund has been processed and the card has been removed.

How did you cancel your account? There are 2 ways to cancel.
- Login to your account and disable Subscribe (AutoPay) and this will stop all future payments from your CC. After 90 days of nonpayment…your account will be closed, SIM will stop working and your number returned to the carrier you got the number from. You could have unsubscribe days in advance to avoid this issue and payment would have stopped before your renewal date. Why didn’t you do this?
- The other option is to port your number over to another carrier and your account will be closed after porting is completed.
Since PM is a prepaid service, there are no refunds but contact a CS_Agent and see if they will give you a refund but no guarantee.

PM is prepaid with no refund
If you port out after they charged you and started a new cycle, there is no refund. But if you ported out , and completed porting and still got charged, ask PM to help
