@chrisc41 since you just gave me a bravo for this this morning (14 months later, lol), I though I should reply and mention that Public Mobile's compatibility checker has been revamped and is more accurate now, though it is still missing a number of models.  It's worth trying their checker first, and if you can't find your model, try willmyphonework.net or do a manual verification of the network specs.

Just wondering, did you use the "Check your phone's compatibility" on the Public Mobile site (https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-started) to check if your phone is compatible or not?

Everytime I suggest this site the oracles and members people tell me not to use it.  Unless just for being stolen - https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

They say go to https://willmyphonework.net/ for device compatibility

@chrisc41 this guidance from @RobertQc is correct--do NOT use the IMEI checker on Public Mobile's site for compatbility, use willmyphonework.

A while ago here I was checking out a phone for a customer and I found conflicting or incorrect or inconsistent information in several of those kinds of sites. Grains of salt all around.

This is a public forum you may not want to post your real name and phone number. You can edit your post.

I notice this is your first and only post on the community. Is there something we may be able to help you with? Is your phone not compatible with the network? Whats not working?

If you just ported, it takes some time, every hour or so remove your battery / restart your phone. It can take time on your first port over and there can be weird issues for a short period of time.

If the issue continues you may have a partially completed port but most often ports just take a bit longer. One of the moderators can take a look, see if they need to do something to move it along.  Click this to send them a message

As this is a pre-paid service there is no guarantee you will receive a refund. You will have to contact the moderator team directly to set that up, they are usually pretty nice, typically moderators do not peruse here on the forum they are busy answering private messages  Click this to send them a message

When interacting with the moderator team, it is important to identify yourself with account PIN code, phone number / account number and provide as much information about the problem in question as possible so that the moderator team can work on the issue without having to ask for further information.  Each interaction causes further delays to problem resolution.

I know it can be a little frustrating to wait but they will get back to you asoon as they can between Monday-Friday 9am-9pm (EDT) and Saturday-Sunday 9AM-7:30PM (EDT). It typically should be within 48 hours.
