Refund for US data roaming that didn't work

I purchased the Unlimited U.S. Talk, Text and 5GB Data Bundle (15 days) ($30) for a recent Hawaii trip. However, the data roaming did not work. To resolve the data connection issue, I then paid an additional $30 and switched my plan to one that supposedly includes data that can be used in the US. It still didn't work. I had to purchase a SIM card in Hawaii after a whole lot of stress of trying to make it work. I wonder how I can get a refund on all the data and the US plan that didn't work at all.

I have to ask though: did you ensure to enable Data Roaming in your sim card settings on your phone? This is typically Off by default, so you need to turn it On.

Also you need to ensure your Network Selection option is set to Automatic. Did you receive a welcome text when you arrived to the US?
