Hi there I referred a friend to public mobile and they made an account but it seems that the the referral code was not applied?

If a friend used your referral code. You will receive your 1 point/month will be added into your next renewal date.

for new referral, it takes at least 1 day or 2 before you will see it on your side.  What you need to do is to login My Account, go to My Referrals page ( https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/referrals ), check the My Referrals graph and you should see an extra one for Oct 

And a better confirmation is ask your friend to login My account AFTER 72 hours of activation, then he should see a $10 credit showing up as Available Funds

if neither of you see any hint to the referrals, please ask your friend to open a single ticket for both of you with PM support:

1. Open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
    Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", then "Other", then "Log In", finally click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗
2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at: 
       https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after ticket submitted, CS Agent will reply to you there
