Thank you all for the quick replies. I'm new to this and presumed the points and Bill Credits would appear as soon as cha ching message arrived but it looks like it takes 48 to 72 hrs.
@Kati2 Should show up in the account in available funds with in 72 hours . If it’s been more then 3 days have them contact support to ensure it was applied correctly. Did you not receive the cha ching text to confirm your referred a friend yet
No rewards will be lost. Rewards will still be paid every 30 days just the same as they have on your current plan, with the exception of the autopay reward that gets paid once per 90 days at a $6 amount.
EDIT: Ops, I wrongly read the question as how rewards gets applied instead of the referral credit. Sorry about that. See answer by @hTideGnow below.
but it is added to his account as a credit, Available funds. With that, it can be used towards buying addon or can be used for renewal, in your friend's case, after the 90 days
