Refer a friend

I am not sure if I am allowed to ask this here. But I'm curious if anyone had any success referring a stranger from posting other forums/websites etc.*Ofc not on this forum as I heard it is prohibited to do so.

If my question is not allowed please let me know and I'll remove this thread asap. Thanks! Hope everyone's having a wonderful week despite the unprecedented challenges.

If you have Facebook, you could also  write a post requesting a referral. That's the way I did it, it helped someone I know (a friend of a friend), rather than a stranger. He appreciated the gesture.

I'm afraid @yanzhiqiang  isn't quite right....rfd (red flag deals also prohibits this as do other forums) just be sure to read the terms and conditions or the posted rules of a forum or platform before you post your referral code. There's lot of ingenious ways users have promoted their code....you can put it on a bulletin board at the grocery store or community centre if you want....

Saw a post about public mobile in fb and the comment section people posted their code, that's where I get a code. Lucky person who I chose. Hehe

Thats a perfect legit question.

I have seen Ebay adds, kijjij, FB, Someone even made a FB page that looks like a replica of the Public Mobile page but embedded their code in everything. Twitter. I have had success with posting on FB. 

You can find some market places on facebook that you can advertise referals.

In this Community Forum...it's just not permitted to offer your referral code number without being asked for it.
