My phone was stolen and my Public Mobile line was recently disconnected. I need to recover the same phone number to receive SMS for account verification for WhatsApp. Please let me know if the number is still recoverable and how to reactivate it with a new SIM or eSIM.

Easiest way is to buy a new sim card from Telus or Koodo Store, or buy from Amazon
Then ask PM to update the sim card for you
Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket. So, you will need to message them here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
CS_Agent will reply to your community inbox, check here:

Or for eSIM, download PM app and install on your phone, login and buy eSIM from Account -> Purchase SIM card -> eSIM.
But you will need to get 2FA via email, not sure if you can. Click Didn't Receive Code or Resend code, choose Send email

@NaomiFrancis Download the public mobile app on new phone and in the account page “change sim “ you can choose eSIM if phones compatible and you can keep same phone number and plan . Or if you have picked up new physical sim you can eneter the new sim number there and keep same number and plan . If you have any issues logging in send support a message to help you
