Does the Public Mobile plans include receiving SMS messages overseas, specifically in the Hong Kong/China area?

@Wholecloud  I also interpret this question another way, but i could be mistaken.

If you are IN Canada, then you can receive texts from someone in the Hong Kong/China area (or from anyone worldwide), if they have a plan that allows it.

Or, if you are in the U.S.A. and have the Roaming Addon for using PM services, then, same as above.

BUT, if you were speaking about YOU (your Public Mobile device/SIM) being in Hong Kong/China, then others have answered you on this in the other posts.

If more specifically you are looking for verification texts try and see if you can change them to voice call verification. Then you can call your pm number and press "*" when your voicemail connects. Enter your 4 digit voicemail pin # to access your voicemail.

You can get very cheap global data plans in Hong Kong. Here is an example....

@Wholecloud    Sorry, PM doesn't offer any roaming options outside of the 10 day roaming for US travel.   You can use WIFI apps like Skype, Whatsapp or Textnow.   Might be best to get a local SIM when you're visiting there.
