If you want to order a new Sim Card you can order through Public Mobile directly, Amazon, Canadian Cell Supplies or a lot of local suppliers sell them - London Drugs, Esso, Superstore, just check in your area. Good luck!

@mgrenier your IPhone is probably locked to the previous provider. Contact them and ask them to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number dial *#06# to get it.
Also sync to iTunes
1. Insert new working SIM - do not turn phone on (if SIM is already in, turn off)
2. Connect to computer with USB cable.
3. Start iTunes if it doesn't auto run
4. iPhone will switch on. Wait until iTunes registers it and checks for updates
5. Install the carrier profile update (if offered, if not, go to step 6)
6. Disconnect and restart. From @luddite.

@mgrenier is this a new activation? How far did you get in the process? Check to see if your credit card as charged. Insert your SIM into your phone and try to log into your self service account.
If it wasn't. Wait 50 minutes from last attempt, go to private/ incognito mode and try again to activate your SIM card.
Here's 3 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward if you need them:
