This happened to me too, I had to just keep trying every day for three days until my activation finally decided to work, you have to be patient as the app is not very user friendly sometimes. I also had spotty service in my community that is slightly remote until I was able to be in a city with a solid connection for a few days too. Be patient, it will work out.
